I serviced my brakes today and the anti rattle clips were in very bad shape. I did not have replacements and put the brakes back together without the clips. Is there any problem not using the anti-rattle clips? I will get replacements if this is something that should be installed to work properly. The brakes seem to work well and just do not want to cause my self any grief or failure of components as important as brakes are.

The worst that will happen is a little bit of rattle from the pads.
