shifts like a champ

I didn't mess it up! Dropped the pan and changed to the Borg Warner solenoid and sensor.
You can't 'F' up the connectors to the sensor and solenoid, it only goes one way. So that helped. T-25 bit for the screws that hold the filter and that block the solenoid goes in, to remove the heat shield.
I put my new filter and new PML cast aluminum pan on, it has a drain plug Yeah !

9 and one half quarts of AFT+4 ! I used the NAPA brand fluid. No warning lights came on when I started it and put it in gear, reverse was good. Put it in drive, it went 1'st , 2nd, 3rd, no indecision at all ! yeah ! It doesn't stay in first gear long at all. shifts are all normal, very smooth. It did fix that indecision it sometimes had between 1st & 2nd.
The old fluid had 38K miles on it, it was still a bright cherry color. The magnet in the original pan has some mushy fine stuff stuck to it. but the rest of the pan was clean.
re-used the pan gasket. I hope it doesn't leak, I am going to watch it close here for a while
I am glad I did it, thanks for all the instructions and help !
I appreciate it,
Have a good one !
