Boost pressure

My question is about Boost Pressure and weather.Should it take less boost to do the same work in colder temps?Just in case there is any confusion will these trucks build less or more boost in cold weather or will have no affect on the truck at all?

Generally colder air is more dense depending on humidity thus making it easier for the motor and turbo to work with cooler more dense air. So yes you would notice a slight difference in power with colder air, less boost pressure is required to do the same amount of work with higher boost pressure in warm air conditions.

boost pressure

thats what I thought so if I am not seeing the high boost numbers doesnt mean I have a leak or anything is wrong just in cooler air the truck just needs less to do the same

You shouldn't see much change in boost pressure from the weather changing. A change in altitude is a different story. My boost stays the same but my truck will not black smoke in the cold.
