you guys can check out aimind.com. they have an engine driven compressor and bracker for the ram diesel. might try giving them a call. it uses the same compressor i got on my dakota show truck. only difference is the bracket. the compress i got pumps 15cfm at 2000 rpm. i have a 9 gallon tank on the dakota . at idle of 600rpm it fills the tank from 0 to 175psi in about 4 minutes. has plenty of air and you can run tools off it. i had this compressor running for over 4 years and not a single issue, at the time i got the bracket for 95 bucks and the compressor was 279. another 30 for a new belt. and 15 for a idler pulley. not a bad deal and tons of air. just somthing to look in to.
www.aimind.com click on the air ride parts only on the left of the screen and browse the compressor and brackets. or give them a call.

Thanks for the link!

However, I have been looking at airbagit.com, which aimind redirects too....

The website claims the bracket kit for $185...I'll call lthem today & see what they have to offer. I still like the Kilby kit...Nice to have it all together & worked out! Or, at least mostly worked out!

For what you would spend for a Bracket or some of the other stuff you would need you can have a CO2 setup. Got the Reg. for 35$ and a used tank to start out for 40$. That tank lasts forever. Refill is done all over for 10-15$ when needed. I can't take the noise of electric and need to have extra Battery or run the truck for air. Off roading I fill the tanks maybe one time a year at a cost of 30$ or so. I have worked with electric pumps on the trail and all the time, start the rig up, OK, turn it off, for 2-3 hrs on/off on/off.....
Got the CO2 and never needed to run a rig for trail repair plus I have been able to carry it to where its needed without 100, 200 foot of hose.
Cant do that with electric. I also carry mine back into the woods to run a nail gun and air tools for building and putting together deer stands. The closest a rig can get is 300 yards away.
Maybe if I had only one rig and was going to keep it forever and always have that rig with me then I may go with electric, or motor driven........
But I use it all the time on other rigs, campers, and trailers... SO it CAN NOT be tied to one rig and must be able to run air tools. Co2 is the only thing that will fit that bill that I can think of..And for the price the only thing I know of under $100 that I paid can do it.

I've never tried one of these or even heard anything about it but being that this is a discussion about on-board air. I just got an e-mail tonight from tellico4x4 and it looked intriguing since I'm in the market for a 12k winch.
