I am posting for a friend who has a 04 CC 3/4 dodge that is having injector & pump issues. The truck has blown the pump once, the #3 injector and is now having similar issues. He is running an Edge EZ module "chip", no cat and aftermarket muffler. Does anyone have any advice on what might be causing these issues and/or how to resolve since the dealer cannot seem to fix. If the chip is causing these issues, does anyone have suggestions to improve the pump, injectors or aftermarket replacements?

 

what setting is his edge ez on? maybe it is getting to high of pressure

 

According to DonM's experiences, that very well could be the problem.

 

I had a couple of 03-04 tow ins a couple years ago that were EZ equipped. High rail psi caused the prob.

 

My brother's truck blew one injector and the turbo, was running an EZ on the highest setting, not any more.
