block heater cord part#
I've requested this before but didn't get any response.
I went to my dealer for the cord and including tax they wanted $42.00. I just played it off that I was "just checking" but they did print out the part number for me. I took it to the local Freightliner store with the big Cummins C on the building. They didn't know what I was talking about. They even tried to look up the part with the Dodge part number to no avail. Could one of y'all please post the Cummins Part # for the heater cord.

I just bought one the other day from Cummins NW. It was $10. So even if you needed it shipped it would only be about $15. Do a search for Cummins dealers in your area.

Thanks for the info y'all. I have 3 Cummins dealers in my area. I'll take both part numbers there this weekend an see what they have. I'm in Texas right now but am being PCS'd (Permanent Change of Station) to Fort Wainwright, Fairbanks, AK this summer. I'll be doing all the winterizing I can and I figured I might as well start with the heater cord.
