luckly enough, the one i bought from dodge has all of the tabs already attached to the cord. just plug it into the block and you will see where you need to attach it to the frame. mine has plenty of length to come out of the front of the truck right at the tow-hook. you can just zip-tie it there. like bubba said, the cord came stock on my 03 only made it to the grill. no farther.

I have mine zip-tied also to the front passenger side tow hook also. I have it ziptied kinda in the back of the hook and when it is not in use it fits nicely through the bumper to be hidden from view when not in use. I took an old female plug end and plug it into that to protect the prongs when im not actually "plugged" into the extension cord.

TFarmer.....im not sure what the deal was with the part number on my receipt. There is another number called a reference number (OE-100-53572). I don't know if that helps any. LOL>>>If the guy was chuckling when you said he said there area a bunch of guys getting them from Cummins instead of the Dodge place....im guessing that was a black guy named Don. Seemed real nice. Incidently, I buy my oil, air, and fuel filters from them too. Seem real reasonable on the price.

Also, if your truck is out of warranty or goes out of warranty....they can work on them there too.
