MikeyB nailed it. It's a non factor if you change the filter as spec'd, at least. If you're cheap and don't like to change the filter, FleetGuard makes a Asphaltene Fuel Conditioner to deal with it. At least the Asphaltene that is.
I got every thing to chang my filter tomarow. It has been about 8,350 miles acording to my log book and I have been runing 20% bio for the last 110 gal. I will take a look and report what I find.
Ok here you go... I never expected to find this stuff that looks like gritts at the bottom of my fuel filter housing. The Diesel in the Jar is after I got the rest of the crud out of and in the jar. and the stuff in the black cap is what I got out of the botom. 180 gal of 20% Bio burned. Any Ideas what this stuff is????

If you go to this website www.ironhorsegarage.net under dodge filter kits there is a good but long write up on dirty fuel its under clean fuel
The diesel in the beaker is contaminated. I did the old KC-130 fuel sampel sworl to create the vortex to get as much watter and contaminints to the center and that is what I got. I am glad the filter did its job. Could it bee any of the stuff in the lines that the bio may have cleaned out. I hear bio cleans alout of junk out of the fuel system??
