Bigger tires and level kit
I have a 2006 dodge dually 4x4. I have seen some trucks in other towns running with what looked like 35's on stock wheels. That is the same thing I would like to do with mine. First I would like to put a level kit on it. I also have a 2500 and I put a 2inch level spacer in the front and that truck looks good. I don't know whether to go with a 2 or 2 1/2 in. spacer in the front or bigger? I just simply want to get it level. NO I dont want to put a bigger lift because of the troubles of towing. With this being said, I also want to put 35's with the stock wheels. I know that I will need a spacer for the back wheels, I just dont know what size of spacer. One other question, I know there is a relay in the cab that controls the blinkers. Whenever I put the left side blinker, it does not cycle regularly, it flashes fast, but when I apply the right side blinker, it cycles regularly, and when I apply my hazards they both cycle regularly. Any help would be welcome, and thanks.
Here's one with a 2" leveling kit in front, and firestone ride rite bags in the rear, 17" rockstars, and 35" nittos. Tows great, handles great, and no rubbing at all.

That is a GOOD looking truck! Do you know what size of spacer was used in the back? Thats all I want it to do, is look level. And looking at the pic, it looks pretty level, or is it just the drawback because its taking off? Thanks!

No its perfectly level. I dono exactly what size spacer we used in the back. Got em from 4wheel parts. I'll call and ask tomorrow for you. They're billet aluminum and we tow heavy all the time and they have been holding up great.
Thanks for asking for me, the rear tires dont rub against each other? Are they touching at all? The reason I am asking is because I haul a 30ft horse trailer. Those are 12.50 wide right? How wide are the wheels?

Haha, sorry shes taken. I'll get ya some pics though. And no the tires don't rub at all. We haul a 41 ft Hart with living quarters and 4 horses and it pulls it great. The tires aren't touching at all.

I called and asked on the spacers and they said they didn't know exactly what thickness they were. They are from ORU(off road unlimited) and are billet steel, not aluminum and the only specs they give you are that they are meant to clear 12.5" tires on a dually. Any larger than 12.5 and they won't work. But thats all the info they had on them. Hope that helps, sorry I couldn't get more for you
I put 2" Top Gun spacers up front, 2" blocks in the rear, .75" worth of shims from Home Depot under the carrier bearing, a new set of Bilstiens all the way around, and 285's. Looks good and sits up nice. Could use bigger tires I suppose. I tow my 5th wheel all day long no problems.

When I leveled mine I didn't like the way the front sat a little higher. Now I've got the firestone bags in the rear, and depending on how much air is in them, it usually sits pretty close to level, with the rear actually being a little higher. The front for sure doesn't sit any higher though
