The wife is 200 mile out in the middle or Wyoming pulling horse trailer. She was going down hill and down shifted to 2nd to slow down. When shifting back to drive she accidentally shifted to first the engine "roared" and she shifted to drive. Now it seems to be stuck in 2nd as she can only get to 45 or so at red line. Any ideas? If I haven't updated my sig the trans is an ATS stage 2 with only about 1k on it.
I hate to have to go tow the thing back again.

Update, Thanks for the response. She was out of cell phone range for a bit but I did tell her to shut it down for a few then restart. She just got back and said she had and things seem back to normal. Thanks again
