Best Shocks

I know this topic has been talk about till we're all blue in the face but, they come out with new technology all the time and where I have a 2 wheel drive, they never had any Good shocks last time I installed them on my truck. So what's up, anything new out there in the world of shocks for 2 wheel drive trucks?

I really like the Bilstein yellow&blue shocks. They replaced the stock ones @ 30k and really made a diference, I believe the Bilsteins ride better than stockers. Now at 89k and just received a new set of Bilsteins just this week.

Shocks

My 2500 has 72K and I just replaced the stock shocks with the silver Bilstein5100's. I can't believe the difference! It rides like the road is paved with *******. No kidding!

I have Rancho 9000 adjustables, DEFINATELY not made for these trucks. My last 2 had Bilstein 5100 silver shocks and they will be on my new one soon! Great shock and great ride!

Since you are running a two wheeler with no lift I would not recommend the Bilstein 5100s

I would think the Bilstein Heavy Duty is the smart choice.

last I looked, the 5100's are for 4x4's only. yellow/blue for 2wd trucks.

Last shocks I bought, yellow and blue (bilstein) for stock ride height. Silver 5100 are for 2" lift or greater. You will notice a improvement loaded.....empty marginal

Don't have them yet, but when I need to replace mine I'm going with the Bilstein 5100's! I hear nothing but good things from people I actually trust!

When my truck tows my 5er and I hit bumps I look in the mirror expecting to see parts on the road with the stock shocks. So I had thought that the y/b bilsteins are the one for me. Axels bounce too much. Can't lift this thing because of the trailer and thats no biggy for me. But a nice ride is as the roads across North America are turning to $hit due to lack of maintenance.
Remember all - the shocks Dodge use are supplied by the cheapest bidder.
