Ball Joints????
I have Moog's upper & lowers. They been in now for about 12,000 miles. everythings "knock on wood" is great. I did it myself and have no issue doing it again. When you do it the first time you use anti-sezie and good grease. Wasn't fun but saved a bunch on my budget.
my 2 cents worth.

I had the Moogs installed for about 5k miles till I couldn't stand the wandering and unsafe feeling any more. After multiple trips to the alignment shop and two sets of new tires didn't fix the problem. Pulled out the Moogs and replaced with XRF and BAM problems solved. Completely new truck. Thanks to this forum I got my answer to what was the problem and got it back to where it should be. The shop was pretty surprised that this was the issue also. Will never run Moog on my rig again.
My XRF's just arrived yesterday. So I will be doing them this upcoming weekend. I wanted to go with the Dynatracs but my wallet told me no. Plus with the saved money I will be doing the SBS to further tighten the steering. With the new XRF's, H2's, new tires and the SBS this should feel like a different truck. I will post back when I get some mileage under my truck with the XRF's. My first set of stocker joints went at 26k and now Im at 86k and I have some slop in them again. Figure I will replace them now before it gets 115 degrees outside plus with the new tires I want no play at all.
Those are what I bought as well. I heard MANY good things about these. But most people have low mileage on them as these are fairly new to the market. Some people that do have them claim to really beat on their trucks with no issues where the stockers would have already failed. Like I said before. I will post back when I get some mileage on these for others to base their purchase off of my personal experience.

Ok got the XRF's installed. First initial thoughts are good. Tightened the steering up quite a bit but that it to be expected when replacing worn joints with brand new ones. Some people complained about them being tough to press in because they were slightly oversized. Well I did not run into that problem whatsoever. I stuck them in for a good deep freezing 2 days before the install and I dont know if it made a difference or not but they went in good and snug but not overly tight where I would be concerned. I figured freezing em couldnt hurt them and only help me. I did the balljoints on my father's truck about 6 weeks ago and we did not freeze them. (I want to say mine went in ever so slightly easier but that could be my conscience, I have more experience installing the joints now, or I simply forgot how they felt going in 6 weeks ago.)The only comlaint I have is that they are not greasable. But like stated earlier LOTS of people have had good luck with them. I will post back my findings when they get some decent mileage under their belt.
I have the pro steers and I have put about 20k on them and towed and I ride my truck hard and I am quite happy with my purchase they installed easy as ball joints do and got rid of my death wobble
what do the XRF's cost, I can't find any pricing online. I am interested in putting them in, as I had greaseable ones put in and ever since my steering has been terrible.
