Ball Joints????

I hated to start a new thread cause there is a lot of reading already on it, but I was looking for several answers and came up a few short. Ball joints may be heading south on the 06 ton-er. What is a tried and true, worth the money, better than stock (much better than stock) Upper and Lower ***** joints???? Part number too if you still have that as well. I know there are a lot of you that have already replaced them, so I'm hoping you can help with these questions. Price doesn't matter. I don't want to be doing this every
40k miles. Thanks

Jason

The Carli's are lifetime units and priced like it. Dynatrac's got some out now too. The XRF's out of Canada are reported to be working out well also. Carli's trying to put a big order in and pass the manufacturer's better price on to us.

I checked out the Carli joints. Very pricy. Ball joints are such a pain that if they last, I will be willing to pay for it. Haven't looked at the Dynatrac's yet. Hopen to get some info from Carli users as well. Thanks D!

There is write up on the Dynatrac prosteer joints in 8-lug mag.
Not a lot of info here but some pics of the product on a Ford. price for a prosteer set up is $600 upper & lower both sides (complete axle). Carli is $600 for a pair of uppers and $600 for a pair of lowers $1200 for one axle, seems excessive to me. Prosteers claim to be rebuildable, via $100 kit, that is pretty sweet if it really works.
Has any bdy installed these & have some miles on them.
Mine are about to fall out and I would like to install some thing better than stock. Any info would be great thanks.

Not sure if it helps, but I ordered the XRF ball joints last week to replace the Moog joints I installed last year which are causing the truck to wander all over the road. As soon as I get them installed and the truck aligned I'll try to post some feedback.

I think this might be what you're asking for.

I've been out of the loop, but did you ever get your truck back? I'm pretty sure your truck was the truck stolen a while back... right??

huh thanks, guess we will have to wait and see how they last. considering the factory balljoint had 3/4" of up and down play my buddy was pretty happy with the way the new balljoints felt.

That would be the upper joint right?

Dodge allows some vertical play in that joint.
