Alignment shop told me 900 bucks until i showed them the specs from the service manual. There is a lot of play allowed in them from the factory. I had to take a indicator and everything down to show them they were fine. you're allowed .090" of play on the lowers and .060" of play on the uppers, my lowers had .030" and the uppers had .006" If anyone wants those pages, PM me. Truck drives fine and doesn't wear tires. Only reason i took it in was to check it since i got new tires.

Yep, at 12.2k my lowers had .120 of play, the uppers had .050. Dealer changed them all under warranty and back to the alignment shop we went.

New parts = .090 on the lowers and .050 on the lowers. Truck drives fine, same as it did before. (And I did watch the old joints being removed.)

It is what it is.
