Donaldson in my opinion is the best filter on the market. They are OEM on probably 95% of the equipment running. Donaldson invented the air filter 100 years ago. APartsDepot.com is selling them for $12.09 each and free shipping until the end of the year.

I'm running an 06 Dodge PU wih a Hemi and 256K on it and all I use is Donaldson. I also use an oil additive called IXL that is available from these folks and at 256K it still doesn't burn any oil.

Happy New Year everyone!

Donaldson Endurance yes, not the regular Donaldson "P" filters.

The Donaldson Endurance and Amsoil filters have the same media inside.

Where are you seeing free shipping on Apartsdepot? Still comes up with shipping for me.

Great post AH64ID. Looks like the WIX XE is a good filter also.

Interesting that Wix specs their filter at 95%. My guess the XE rating would be around 25 microns at 98.7%.

They sent an email to all of their customes stating that they are having trouble with their shopping cart but they are honoring the free shipping up to midnight tonight regardless of what the website says. Mine had shipping charges as well but they sent them for free.

Happy New Year!

Even if apartsdepot was to charge shipping, if I had the extra to buy 4 filters it would bring the filters $12.09 cost up to 15.52 each that is still lower then the $18.95 Amsoil wants for the EaO80.

I just switched to the Donaldson ELF 7349 and I really like it. It cost more but it filters so much better.

Very good pricing, even if you had to pay the shipping you can't beat the prices. I've had excellent service from them.

Did everyone get their free shipping?

www.apartsdepot.com if anyone missed it!

Some of the above filters are made by Cummins..... I don't think it's worth the hassle of EVER having the question come up, so I use the Stratapore. Can't remember what they cost each on the last case I bought, but around $10.
