Is there a way you can tell an injector is going bad, without sending them in? Do they make alot of noise? Rough idle? I have a weird knock/tick that seems to be getting worse. I can hear it from ideal to 60-70 but goes away with wot. Let me know what you think.

When I had one going it ticked at idle but I cant remember if it did it at highway speed or not. Is it smoking white at idle or while driving?

 

Yes they will sometimes make a tick/knock/ping sound at that speed or even when you are under light load or full load. We do lots of common rail injs. I can try to help you out if possible. You can pm me your # if you need help and I will call.

 

i notice a vibration at 90 km hour 1800 rpm. if i gun throttle after 1800 it goes away.

 

ok so today i put my bypass unit on the tst and it was still there just not as loud as before, i have no white smoke no blue smoke and starts right up, just adjusted the rocker arms not to long ago, but sounds differant then that anyway. Its driving me crazy, And if i turn the radio up really loud it all goes away.
