Bad Fuel Gauge Bulb?

I left my buddies house at 4:00 in the moarning last night and I jumped on the freeway to head home. I looked down at my fuel gauge and I noticed that it was nearly black, hardly any light was shining behind it. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me but I adjusted my dimmer switch and still nothing. Everyother gauge on the dash works, even my ISSPRO gauges have the right amount of light behind them.

So my question is, is there a bulb behind it that may be going dead? Is the whole dash headed south?

Also one more thing before I forget. My fuel gauge has been "jumping" on me latley, for instance. When the low fuel indicator beeps on the needle will be buried, I can shut off my truck and the needle will nearly be one whole mark above the "E" after I start it again. I noticed the whole jumping around thing a couple of weeks before it started to get realy dim on me.

Thanks for the help in advance.
