Awsome Project!!
I am aking for help to see if anyone has Ideas or suggestions.....
For the longest time the 40's & 50's Power Wagon has been my favorite truck.
Heres the cool part...........FOUND ONE!!!!
It is in GREAT shape (-) the original bed. (It is now a flatbed)
Now here is the twist, I messed around with my '05 CTD and I have learned a decent amount about the powerplant.
A Decent CTD 4x4 SWB CTD wreck + a Power Wagon + blood + time + fabrication = a very awsome truck!!
It will be a driver/off road/ toy/ with some style!!
Anyone have any advice or suggestions?
I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS!

There is no G. There is no G. Repeat after me, THERE IS NO G!
Dad and I have long dreamed of a project like that. It would be awesome for sure.
Oh, probably don't have to say it but, post up pics of the build!

You might even consider a BT4 to keep it alittle lighter if you plan on using it off road and an easier fit. Those BT4s can be turned up pretty good also, but it might save you alittle bit of work trying to keep from twisting the frame with the amount of torque from an ISB.
I would definately use a 12v if your going I6 just to keep it simple.

with that six you are either going to lenghten the hood and fenders or make a dog house under the dash.If the pw is clean just enjoy it or customize a less collectable 39-47 dodge 1/2-11/2 truck. If your really set on the cummins the 4bt is the best overall compromise.I've had many ctds and still have a04 and 96,but I still enjoy my 58 flat fender, get your pw running and you might be surprised at the fun you have driving and double clutching that old crashbox
