Just wondering what is the best brand out there or what people prefer to use and do u go by mileage when changing the fluid and filter? I was told the Auto's need changed out 12-14000 miles...

Any suggestion's...

Just make sure iot AFT+4. Valvoline is really good IMO.

 

Also when you buy the oil the auto parts store, the computer will say 4 quarts for a pan drop and filter change. Plan on 7 or 8 quarts.

 

Wal Mart sells Mopar. Every 20,000 to 30,000 miles is fine depending on how heavily and often you pull with it.

 

I use Mopar.. It was recommended by a very well know and respected tranny builder (Dave)

 

I buy Mopar ATF +4 from the dealer by the gallon jug and request a discount. They will if you ask!


I change mine every 20K.....along with a new trans filter.
