How do you know if you should adjust your front and rear bands?

 

If it starts missing second gear or shifts quickly in drive, the adjstment is past due. Normally do with a fluid and filter change. A suggestion is when the fluid changes color from red to brown. Oh, yes. When no threads are extending past jamb nut, the band is worn out.
