Change fuel filter every other oil change (5000 mile interval) since I bought it in 2003. Don't know if that's contributed at all.

Got an 07 5.9 megacab with 95k miles.
Got it 7 months ago with 72k miles.
Replaced injectors at 75k.
Added extra filtration (CAT kit) hopefully don't have to do it again Any time soon.

I wouldn't say it's alot of people that have low mile problems. Only a couple here out of the 30 or so responded.
Mine:
'07 5.9
May as well of bought it new, only 10k mi on it when I purchased. 105k now.
Orig CP3 and injectors. WIX gold fuel filter with every oil change.
Have often thought about add'l filtration, maybe a aftermarket lift pump, but seems there's enough trucks like your with a crap load of miles on an orig fuel system to not warrant it for me.
Why do you say someone is trying to sell you new sticks or pump if the truck runs fine as is.
Happy with mine so far. Knock on wood, not many of the "common" problems....yet. Orig front end components, ujoints, 2 piece rear d shaft that is still fine. Only lost a #4 inj line, 1 steering box and it seems to like to eat power steering pumps (rebuilds) but I can't handle shelling out the $800 the dlr wants for the "new, better" PS pump setup.

117k mi, 2 weak injectors. Still runs fine, down on power a bit, feels like, but getting continuausly harder to start at colder temps. #5 and #6 are weak. Got a new set of Dragon Flys waiting at the house.............and a gdp 2 micron filter kit!

Harmonic Balancer = growl?
Anyway, the 03 has original CP3 and injectors @ 76K miles. On first replacement lift pump. Went with the replacement OEM one offered by Geno's Garage. I didn't want to change up the truck too much, and it's not that hard to get to the back side of the fuel filter housing any way. (Still carry a spare though).
