From what I remember, the ATF had to be a semi-synth to meet ATF+4 specs. Are you sure all ATF+4 is FULL Synth?

If all ATF+4 is full synth, I'm just going to go buy the cheapest I can find.

Well lets say that 5 years ago and earlier FULL synthetics were always in the high price range and oils like Castrol Synthic were much much less money. That now has been changing over time but PRICE almost always made the Group IIII fliuds stand out.

A buck fifty a quart less for super tech and I'll bet it's the same fluid composition makeup.

At the local Walmart here, the price difference was about 30 cents. You're probably right as to the composition. Walmart's just having someone private label it for them. Won't it be funny if all ATF+4 was identical??

Someone was once telling me they worked at a oil factory bottleing oil. He said the 1st time he was on the line, they stopped the line to say they needed to switch to 10,000 cases of Ford oil. He asked a co-worker how it was done and he was told that only the label was changing and the oil was identical to the, I think, Quaker State they were bottleing before.
