Anyone know what would cause this...

I threw some codes today, and about a month ago, while driving up a hill, I heard a loud "pop" and then my truck died. It wouldn't start right away. I think I had to fully shut my key off then turn it back on to start, which it did. I didn't know how to check the codes by cycling the key at the time so I got on this site and began searching.

From what I found, it looked like it might have been due too running my fuel level too low.

Fast forward to today, I threw a two codes after driving normal and I experienced a short loss of power. I let up on the pedal and then it went back to running fine. The codes thrown are P2419 and P2416.

The P2419 is "EVAP emissions switching vavle control circuit low"

The P2416 is "O2 sensor signal swapped bank 1 sensor 2/bank 1 sensor 3"

Now the kicker...I have no idea if this is related and I don't want to blame it on it but I am running bio-diesel. This tank is about 95% bio.

When I had my problem a month ago, I wasn't running bio-diesel yet.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Craig

Is this on your Jeep CRD? I was not aware O2 sensors and Evap emissions control valve were on an 04 CTD.

But I'm aware now if they are.

Unless he confused the CTD for a Hemi.

Those codes make no sense. Are you checking them with your Juice? The code list in the Wiki doesn't even list them. When I had my Juice/Attitude, I used to get injector low voltage codes that would cause a stumble. I don't think it is related to the bio. Make sure all your connections for your JA are secure and clean.

Sorry, I should have clarified that. It is on my Cummins not my CRD.

I found those codes on a Google search and a Smarty code sheet came up. That's what they listed.

I found the codes on my truck from cycling the key.

I'll check the connections next.

And you're correct, those codes do not make sense.

Those codes relate to a gas engine.
