the electric shift motor on the transfer case? I try to remember to engage mine every so often just to see that it gets used but lately it seems as though it is "sticking." Sometimes it will go into 4wd and sometimes not.....other times when it does finally engage it won't disengage. Just yesterday I tried it again and it would not come out of 4Lo. After messing with it for 20 minutes and looking like a total whack job backing up and pulling forward about 15 times I finally shut the truck off and unplugged both connections on the trans case and plugged them back in and re-started the truck and I could hear it unlock and go back into 2wd. Is this an indication of things to come......a new shift motor?

 

Am I the only one with this problem???? Just my luck .
