Anybody else with P0128 code in a stock 6.7?

I've been having a lot of trouble with my one week old 07 6.7. CEL came on with P2000 and P0516 codes. The tech cleared the P0516 and said the P2000 was not really a problem. The very next day (today) another CEL with 2 codes showing on the odometer - P2000 (again) and P0128 (cooling system rationality). This time it was a different tech and he too, said his diagnostic system pretty much ignored the P2000 and he has diagnosed a bad fan clutch for the P0128, which seems fishy since the temp gauge reads OK.

Anybody else have experience with the P0128 on a bone stock new truck or have any insight into the repeated CEL's I'm experiencing?

Get it flashed before doing too much stressing.

I asked them to do it but they say the codes have nothing to do with the issues the flash is designed to address so therefore the Dodge diagnostic network has not told them a flash is appropriate.

have had both flashes, ETC light and 0128 and 0571 codes.

dealer said it was due to a bad brake pedal switch, I said no.

My CEL hasn't come back on so maybe the tech was right. The truck is running fine at the moment. I'm seeing slightly over 21mpg cumulative average on the overhead display over more than 1,000 miles, which is better than I expected.

Keep us all informed as to whether or not the P0128 pops up for you again. I just got the G30 recall done a couple of days ago. I had zero troubles with my rig previously but today P0128 pops up. I'm going to give it a few days and see if it goes away on its own as it did for you.

No problem with the P0128 since the tech replaced the fan clutch. They did the G30 a week ago so I finally got the AU flash. I couldn't tell any difference but I haven't seen the other code (P2000) since the reflash so I'm hoping it fixed that too.

I had the p0128 come up, they are replacing the thermostat next week. I did notice that the temp gauge was reading lower than normal.
