any way to lock up o/d in 05

Is there a way to lock up the trans so it will not shift to o/d while in tow haul mode??? That's my only ***** while towing, I'm in tow/haul mode i don't want o/d ...It stays locked into third as long as I don't touch the pedal but as soon as I do I end up using a lot more brakes than I want to.If theres anything I can do whether it be after market or whatever please let me know>>

Never mind, Did a quick search and looks like the subject is covered, but after reading some interesting articles I'm going to try this: It sounds like if you set your cruise control at a lower speed then put it in t/h mode it will stay out of o/d even after applying the throttle. anybody tried this??

The easiest thing to do is to set tow/haul mode to "on" at what ever speed you want then shift to "L2". At higher speeds (55 ish or more) the trans will not shift down to second and will not shift to OD.

I did this on mine engine brakeing down Vail pass with about 6000 pounds on teh back going about 60-65 and it downshifted to 2nd and tached to 4500 or so. I quickly bumped it back up to drive and all was fine but it scared the crap out of me. It has never done it again.
