Another leveling question

I am wanting to do a 2" front leveling kit and an inch in the rear.Does somebody make a kit with longer front springs and matching Bilstens. The rear is no big deal.I think the ticket in the front would be longer springs for maybe more travel and a better ride.
Was wondering if anyone could help me out with whats out there and where do I get it.
Thanks again all

Phil

I did the 2.5 up front for several years, finally removedit , to much for the front geometry, wore ball joints and maxed out the front travel at all times. If you went over something at any speed the tires would come off the ground- or at least it felt that way. Ther was no more travel due to the upper control arms being maxed. If you can find springs and upper C.Arms i say do it! If not i have the 2.5 daystars that came out of mine they still look new, but i would go with somethimg shorter 1 1/2 maaybe. Also the 2.5 spacers raised mine so much the clearance lamps touched the garage door gaskets, just barily would make it in the garage an its only a 2wd. Im going lower these days!

4wd and 2wd are completely different animals and a 2 level kit is fine.

Lorenz Industries has what you're looking for.

Yes I would think that a 2wd would be completly different.I have a 4wd and is everyone happy with their front end lifts?
Any issues.I wouldn't think you would even need an alignment.
Thanks for any help

Believe it or not, you do need a front end alignment after putting the spacers on the front of your 4wd.

I put in the 2" didnt get an alignment no uneven wear on the tires but you need to change the shocks they are not long enough.

A track bar is advisable with a level kit, as are longer sway bar end links and shocks.

I never did an alignment or shocks yet and the truck ran the stock tire for 46K without any weird wearing issues. It is due for shocks at 50K but that is more due to having crappy stock shocks. Scotty

There was a really great comparison post on several different leveling kits not long ago. Don't quote me but it seems like Carli, Kore & Lorenz were the major suspension suppliers. They all came out much improved performance over stock. I liked the Lorenz kit myself.
