Amsoil oil w/ leaks?
my truck(engine, tranny, t-case, and axels) was switched over to amsoil at about 215,000 miles and no leaks. The motor has had a leak from somewhere in the front since we got it but it hasn't gotten any worse. i have to add a quart every 500-1000 miles or so.
There is a common misconception with synthetic oils, that if you switch over to synthetic on a high mileage engine, it will cause seals to crack and leak. This is not true, if you use a pre-cleaning product like Amsoil's engine flush before doing the switch over to amsoil, but this is only for high mileage engines. If you don't have high miles, feel free to switch with no engine flush, and it will be just fine. I've been running Amsoil in my truck for about 30k with no problems.

I put Amsoil in mine and I have leaks everywhere. I had them before I put it in and I still have them.
I run it in everything I own and have been since 1997. If there were no leaks before Amsoil then there shouldn't be any leaks when Amsoil is used. Some people call it "snake oil" but it does work.
