No you should only to use the BMK-11 on 04 and newer engines. IIRC Amsoil noticed the other By pass units like the BMK-15 etc. lowered the oil pressure on the newer engines and they only recommend the BMK-11 to be used. So if you did use the BMK-16 and it lowered the oil pressure an you then you had engine problems related to low oil pressure then warranty would not cover the repair work nor would Amsoil.
