Unhappy air flow restriction

hi everyone,
I live in the north of 49. A few days ago we had a big snow storm my truck was running fine until last night. I went to start the truck and it was very noisy and vibrating. I shut it down and popped the hood. First thing I noticed was my air restrictor gauge was in the red. I had just replaced the filter two weeks ago. When I pulled the filter out it was plugged solid with snow and ice in the filter and a little snow in the box. Then I noticed my foam seal had fallen off. I dried the filter and put it back in and the truck still is vibrating and loud. Does anyone know what has happened and should I take it to the insurance. Hopefully it will be covered and it was the snow that pooched something.

Check the air intake on the side of the air box, may be packed with snow and ice.
