Dont' know about an 03, but it will definitely work on an 04.5. Go to dealer and order the two switches to replace blanks on steering wheel. Can't find part #'s right now , but it should cost between 30 and 40$. Turn steering wheel 90 degrees, remove both negative battery cables, wait ten minutes so airbag won't explode, use 10mm socket to remove two bolts on back of wheel to remove airbag and plastic cover, use phillips screwdriver to remove one screw in each blank, once removed there will be a wire clipped into the blank, unhook wires, plug into new cruise control switches, put back together in reverse order, test drive and enjoy your $33.00 factory cruise control. The parts dept. said there wasn't anyway it would work, but for the small amount of money I had to try it. It works flawlessly and was probably the best and easiest mod so far, you can't go wrong!

Sorry, a bit more expensive than I remembered. 03 is the example used.

Ok hold on a minute here. This sounds nearly to good to be true. First off this DOES work for an 03? And there is no way at all the airbag will deploy if I wait more then 10 minutes to remove it? If this is legit then this is golden. I'll just do it my self.

Thanks annabelle & dirtdiver for posting, and to everyone else who chimed in. I sure to appreciate it.

The people I've typed w/ that have done it rave about it being the best mod they have ever done. Simple too. I don't know about the airbags.

I would like to publicly thank our monitor for allowing me to share this info. I'm told it's like factory. I have no idea as mine came equipped w/ CC.

Awesome, as soon as I get paid i'll get those switches from the dealer. Once again thanks alot buddy I appreciate it.

The airbag thing sortive bothers me though, I guess I can desconnect both batteries and let it sit for 30 minutes or so. I know that once they deploy you cannot reuse them. And don't they have some kind of chalk residue on them?

Found part #'s, Switch, Speed Control part # 1-56049379AC and Switch, Speed Control part # 1-56049378AD. Both switches cost less than $33.00 and have worked on an 04.5 6 speed for almost a year without any problems. Good luck!

Sent you a PM Nate.

From what I have heard, its a crapshoot if all the autos work this same way, I guess the only way to tell is if you put it on there, and it doesnt work.
