acceptable oil filter
Funny after all these years people still dont get it.
The issue with filters is not about how well it filters most seem to do a fine job with the filtration end of things.
The problem is with aftermarket filters is that some cannot stand the pressure spikes of up to 120psi that these Cummins engines can generate.
Not only that but this engine can move some massive amounts of oil.
So what happens is the filter itself starts to come apart and introduce itself into your engines lubrication system. In most cases causing a clogged piston cooling nozzle or J jet which will immediately cut off lubrication to one or more of your cylinders.
Need I say more?

100% On The Money ! That is Why i Bought a New VORTEX Filter Like a TRU Filter But Way Better,Increased flow and decreased turbulence, defends against foaming which causes oil breakdown. Less turbulence means cooler oil and longer oil life! I Use a OilGaurd Bypass System Also , My Oil stay Clean. Also You Can Order oilgaurd System And use VORTEX Code For a 10% Off The Price . Can not Beet The Price .
