well Took it in to the local dealer they were really helpfull, At least th service guy i was talking to he said he'll help me with any thing he can, I showed him the oil samples and he said **** looks like something is going out, so the soonest they can get it in is Wed this week. the soonest because the gearhead is in schooling...)?????? hmmmm he said dont worry hes the best in the area........ soooooo going to drop it off in the morn they said they'll have an answer sometime that day...if there going to replace parts or the whole caboodle.. geting a rental out of it at least because im a bussniess link member... so thats good.no charge to me.


and to beet all... my wife informes me yesterday that she was looking in here at some pics and wants me to put stacks on my truck.... LOL i said Hell yeah.!! lolso were going to go to the nearby truck shop.<<am a truckdriver> and get the parts.there factory seconds from Freightliner and there cheap...but good quality..

 

I think I would go for the whole caboodle if I were you I don't think they can set them up now a days They put a whole axle assy in mine from rotor to rotor at least it wasn't touched inside. I think the new part # they keep talking about is a 365 DB Driveshaft to quiet the whine ..... at least that what AA & M told me ... keep us posted

 

[COLOR=darkblue]Yea Im going to strongly suggest that they just replace the whole axel. would be less time and cost for them not that it matters its not ther money its DaimlerChryslers..
I asked them if there had any others with this porb, he said Not the rear but ive got one in with a front 9.25 373 gear that tore itself up.. so will see what they do.. im figuring there going to try and figure out what the prob is what the cause was and then go from ther, I think i would feel better about a new untouched rear. anywho will post again. goes in at 7am tomorrow.
