6 speed & transfer case

Getting ready to install a new clutch in a couple of weeks. Just wondering how much the trans & tranfer case weight if I take take them out together.

The transfer case is fairly light, maybe 100# or less.

If my memory is right, 5600 weighs in at 450 and the np271/273 is around 150lbs. Every clutch I have done, we always split the trans and transfer case.

I dropped mine together (G56-NV271), and it wasn't too bad. We just did my brother's last weekend (NV4500-NV240) and it wasn't that bad either.

A transmission jack and a helper sure make things easier though!
