6.7L turbo and a 5.9L
I may be wrong but the 6.7 turbo is electronicly controled bet it would difficult to make work on a 5.9.With all the good turbos available for the 5.9 I don't think I'd want a variable pitch turbo.
He needs to practically through it in the trash.
Opps Thought I was answering a thread about a 6.7 MUFFLER. Maybe someone with more knowledge then me will chime in but I think only another 6.7 would benifit from it.Plus theirs been a few part number changes on those turbos since the 6.7 came out.The electronics is the BIG issue.Apples to oranges.

I am not familiar with the ECU of the CTD yet, but on most vehicles with a VGT the ECU controls it. There are several input factors that effect the logic. So, in short, you would need to come up with a way to control the solenoid that actuates the vanes. IMO, this would be too difficult for the layman.
