5th gear making noise

It happens about 30% of the time, but when I shift into 5th it feels like its grinding or clunking into gear. You cant hear it, but you can def. feel it in the shifter. Anyone else have this problem or know whats up. The truck only has 25k of county highway driving on it for the most part.

it was having shifting problem around 4k kept telling them it was the syncro's but they didnt listen, then it started hanging in reverse at 11k so they changed the fluid had lots of pretty colors in it. still didnt fix it so they changed the clutch and flywheel around 26k. didnt help finally after a lot of complaining they pulled it out and replaced it after they determined it was over 70% damaged. this was at 52k. this was a span of 8 months then 4 months later the motor went. lawyers working on it now. the mechanic said to change the fluid about every 20k

What exactly do you men when you say "bring up the RPM's"?

At very low RPM, a clunk or light grind is not unusual just a differential gear speed relationship thing. If it's not dramatic, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Mine always feels a littlle notchy going into fifth gear.I run roayl purple syncro max in mine.If you wait a second longer than normal to slide it into fifth gear it is a little smoother but if yoiu are grabbin gears fifth always feels a little rougher than any other gear.
