555 vs 600 & door lock ?
That programming sounds more like what I've seen in the Jeeps, not the computer gizmo in the Ram. The jeeps have a full text dot matrix display.
Most autolock cars I've had have not unlocked the doors. The front doors unlock mechanically when you pull the handle. The rears do not, it's a safety thing I guess.

I checked my truck, it has the Compass/Mini-Trip Computer display, not the EVIC... Bummer!!! that thing sounds nice! It may be on the Jeeps, or the Laramie, or somthing, I got every option available on an SLT and avoided the Laramie because I didnt want to get stuck with leather seats.
I'm even happier about that having read on this site how the "leather" seats actually have about as much real leather as a mcdonalds chickin nuget has real chicken... I guess NY sewer RATS have "white meat" too!
THANKS for the info. though!

Jack Thorpe, Been thinking about what you mentioned about the saftey issue, and I have thought of that before as well. My daughter is almost 10 and while I'm confident SHE would never make the mistake of trying to get out while the truck was moving, we somtimes have other younger children riding back there that may very likely try somthing like this (I've stopped 2 6yr olds from trying to eat a pool ball before!)
Makes good sense to just leave the "rolling locks" do what they do I guess!
