Talking 50 lbs of useless crap

Just removed that big ol muffler after work today.Only cost me $25 out the door I stopped by a local truck part supplier and picked up a couple clamps and a 3 foot piece of flexible exhaust pipe.(not my idea,I got it off another thread on this great site....DTR RULES ......)Only took about an hour using a grinder with cut off wheel, just made two parrallel cuts on each end of muff, remove hangers and pry and wiggle off she,ll come. With the way DC clamped it down it has to be cut.If you wanted to put it back on(I dont know why anyone would though) theres enough tube left to reinstall it if you bought 2 short 4" id pieces of tube. Done in less than an hour.... Rooster

Wink

You can remove the clamps, use a torch to get it red hot and wiggle it off.

Yep, they work good if you have one.I can just weld the cut lines if I put it back.Grinders faster than a torch
