4wd ?

in a 2001 4x4 duelly ext what could make 4wd not work. what is a coomon prob for 4wd not work on this truck. truck is not moded or anything. it has a turn switch on dash not a leaveler on the floor

i think a vacuum leak would prob be the best best if its the one i am thinking of

Could be that the switch on the dash is out. My friends 2001 Ford had the same problem. Replaced the switch and he was back in action.

check the vacuum lines to the actuator on the front axle if you have vacuum to it then it could be bad
