Sorry to hear of your problem. Sounds the selling dealer sold you a defective truck.

Before I ever put $4200 into a stock trans I would get a ATS trans and parts. Much more for your money.

 

That's what I am trying to do. Sounds like the warranty company might step up with a woppin' $2800. What the heck am I supposed to do with that, get a used tranny? The only option now is probably a Suncoast rebuilt tranny for $2895 give or take but I still need more $ for labor. Has anyone used one of their trannies or done business with them?

 

Got it fixed! Got a totally rebuilt tranny with Billet 3 disc TC, aftermarket VB, new input, and all the other goodies. Threatened to take the warranty company to court and look what happens.

How in the H did you get them to pony up for a freakin built tranny?

 

I have no clue. I ended up talking to the senior manager and ended up yelling at him on the phone. It ended with me calling him a lying sack of sh** and then I hung up on him. The manager guy made it pretty apparent that they weren't going to cover it for any reason whatsoever. I told the dealership to either pay for it or get the warranty company to pay for one way or another. Somehow they convinced the warranty company to pay for it. I don't have the slightest clue how they pulled that one off but it worked.
