48RE Auto and Gearvendors Overdrive

Ok Ive read lots of posts about the grearvendors overdrive and Most users seem to be using them with standard 6sp tranys. I am looking for somefeedback on milage, relaiibility, etc for Greavendors with a Auto.

My truck is an 06 Megacab with 4.10s and 4sp auto

I would think that the main advantage of the gearvendors would be running a higher axle ratio while still getting decent cruising rpms. Other than the 1000lbs, why are the Dmaxs so quick and get such good mileage?

Go with the US Gear OD/UD. It's cheaper, stronger, and you can use it in 4wd.
