47re transmission trouble
2003 quad cab bought it 2006 w/83k and have 215k now. lots of things have gone wrong, lift pump went out replaced with fass95 $495, then it would not start. I replaced six injectors with 50 hp nozzles $2200, Then axcelleration became erratic, I replaced throttle position pot $545. Two water pumps . Now the transmission is slipping. about a mile from the house trans would not shift in to second gear then lost all forward drive. if i shut it off and restart it will move in any gear selection to 20 mph then slip until i shut down and restart. changed fluid (5.5 quarts & filter at about 200K, looks and smells a little burnt now. What do you think is the problem.

i am new at posting here but all the repairs on my truck have been made possible from reading this forum, there are alot of very experienced owners her that might have had the same transmission trouble. i have ordered a rebuilt valve body with the governer solinoid and sensor anybody please repiy

i have not the band adjustment, and it has been slow to shift from first to second many times in recent months, has anyone rebuilt one of these 47re, the only code is p0700
