items needed :
4.5 inch hole saw
2ft of 4 inch black flexible drain pipe (like used for spouting extensions)
drill
zip ties


i decided i wanted to do a ram air style intake kind of like the volant type. so was looking up under truck and there is an chase way between the passenger side inner fender well and the head light.

first you use the 4.5 inch hole saw to drill a hole in the bottom of the airbox. then cut a two foot piece of the 4 inch drain pipe. slide it up the chase way and pry it up into the hole so the corrugated lip holds it in then down on the bottom of the inner fender well drill two holes through the fender well and the pipe so that you can use zip tye at bottom to hold it then i trimmed the bottom of pipe so it was even with bumper and didnt hang way down
then drill two or three holes in front part of pipe at bottom about four ridges up then use zip ties to hold the pipe bent at and angle so it acts as a scoop.

i toped it all off then with a amsoil nanofiber air filter
