3rd gen Death Wobble?
Well here is my final opinion on this issue, I have had the truck aligned 3 times at NTB, never fixed the death wobble, put in dual stabilizer, only absorbed it. Yesterday I picked the truck up from the body shop and just out of being curious I drove over a spot where death wobble has always been a sure thing for me and nothing, smooth as glass. I got home and looked at the repair order, aside from body work I saw "front end alignment" one big difference was this one cost 100bucks whereas NTB was only ever 39.95. I am going to go back over to the body shop and find out where they had it aligned at because they did it right and I want to go back if ever need be.
Mark , I think you'll find the cheap shop set toein and let it go. Where as the $100. job the man adjusted all 3 settings . And if you complained of the DW to the tech and he understands what the setings do then he no dought went more to the negative with the caster. And made sure the dynamic ballance was correct.
The truck should turn easier to as a result of more negative caster.
