21,000 mile service

This weekend, changed the fuel filter (looked good), changed the oil, inspected the pto covers on the trans....weaping, inspected rear diff seal....weaping, inspected air filter....dirty, cleaned the anti-freeze from the top block pugs and tightened....still not leaking, valve cover... weaping oil, check block heater cover... not leaking.....I got all of these straightened out. With many interuptions (wife), I forgot to check the reverse light and also forgot to plug back up the IAT. BINGO... ...code 107 and 73...oops.

still love the truck

Was everything just loose, or did you find other faults?

loose. with a new motor or truck, it is a good idea to sniff around it real good after a few miles to check for things that have worked loose or loose from the very start. I am satisfied with everything at this point. I still need to fix the reverse light. I will check for loose bolts etc again in a few thousand miles.

Happy trucking....JKE

Weaping fluids are good! That way you know you aren't running dry!!

That's right...If it quits leaking, you know you are in trouble!
