2007 Front end clunking/rattling

Since the truck was new and I drive over small dips/bumps in the road at medium to higway speeds that are off camber. I hear a clunking noise that sounds like it is coming from under my feet. I have looked under the truck more times than I can count and have found nothing loose. I see that the transfer case is mounted on what looks to be rubber bushings. Is this just drive train rattle between the transmission and transfer case or a problem. You can hear the nosie with windows down and radio on. I can also feel the shutter under my feet.

Coming from another 07 owner....

I had a noise, kinda under feet or lower dash on passenger side. I even drove around with a friend laying on the seat with his head in the floorboard. We THOUGHT we traced it to INSIDE the heater box. You could actually FEEL something.

Dropped truck at dealer, explained what I found over the course of a month of searching, expected a call to pick up a rental later in the day.

Got a call, it was fixed.....turned out that the dipstick tube for the tranny was contacting a line for the AC.

I couldn't believe it...I had searched for weeks, took almost EVERYTHING apart...how could I have missed that???

Sure enough, good as new!

I just got back from another long trip and when driving in the city over small uneven bumps through intersections the ratlle is pretty loud. Again I crawled up under the truck and I can forcefully move drive train a little. I noticed above the crossmember and bracket that attached to the transfer case with a rubber bushing. You can see where this rubber bushing has moved back and forth against the bracket. This looks like this was designed this way to only allow the drive line to move so much. I will see if I can crawl under the truck this week and take a pic of what I am talking about.
