That depends on who you ask. There are some here on DTR that love the newer 6.7's and others like me that wouldn't have one. I think I can safely say that most of the members that have the 6.7 engines are happier once they do the DPF Deletes. However, if you need the warranty from Dodge, I would suggest NOT doing that as it can void the warranty.

Blow by, ball joints, heater/ac blended doors working correctly, rear window leaks, #4 fuel line crack, tight steering no wobble at high speeds, ball joints, hubs, alternator, rear bearing seals etc
noisy two piece flywheel issue, u-joint eater, pump, clutch fan, Runs very very high EGT even when stock. Motors cant take the abuse like the old ones, But Gosh Darn They are one heck of a good looking truck. There is nothing better looking one leveled out and 33's or up bit higher on 35's. It seems you'll get a good one or a bad one IMO. In my area where i live 4 outa 5 guys have a bad one. I sold mine b/c of all this issue's,I loved the truck, but alot of guys around here are having to rebuild them under 200k miles. i know of 5 truck with the 5.9 cr that have under 150k on them and rebuilt allready. I just caught wind of a guy that does just few pulls durring fair time just toasted his motor the other week, and it was on its 2nd engine. Maybe its something in our fuel around here, but guys are selling they're cr 5.9 left and right to get older 5.9 or Dmax. i switched to Dmax, (still have a 12v though). i got one bud still running one but has low miles and doesnt drive it everyday, sleeps in shop most the time. its holding up prettty well. like i said, seems ya good a good one or a bad one. when theyr bad, its a headache

All truck have problems some have more some have less, it does not matter what brand GM, Dodge or Ford they all have there problem. Just treat it right. Dodge is easier to work on. 6˙5 suıɯɯnɔ ɐ ʎnq

I'm really leaning towards the 06-07 with the 5.9....I like the 08+ f250s but they have some issues also and don't seem to last near as long as the cummins....I will only be pulling a trailer with my drag truck which ik s only about 5000lbs total.....and with a Smarty the cummins gets way better MPG than the fords......I will get an extended warranty and if I could get 500k miles out of it that would be awesome....then I can rebuild it better down the road

Is 20-23 MPG possible with a lvl kit and 35s with either the auto or 6 speed?

06-07 5.9 6speed is a +. You will be happy. The answer the mpg with the large wheel size is. I have Hummer wheels with 305/70/17 I'm getting 22-23 mpg doing 65, 72 mph, city 17 to 18
