How long has DC been using the NV5600? Will it be tough to find parts in 10 years or more? thanks.

I bet not.its made by New Venture and this trans has been used/around in other applications or so I read for a lot longer then D.C.used it.Some trans repair/rebulid/reman companys that advertise(Standard transmission for one) makes it sound like parts/repair not a big deal.

NV5600 started in the 2000 model year. There were actually about 200 1999 trucks built with the NV5600 (just sold one to buy a 2005 with NV5600). 2005 will be the last model year for the NV5600. If it has a G56, its actually a 2005 1/2.
