2004.5 vibration
I cannot get anywhere with the dealerships. They look up my service history, tell me ny truck has a file on it and Chrysler is working on a fix and send me on my merry way.
A little frustrating.
The good news is it seems to have gotten a little more subtle as I rack on the miles. I'm thinking though it's worse when its cold as I can feel it good when I start out but as the day gets warmer and the truck does, it's not as noticeable.
If it is transfer case related then it could be because the lube gets thinner as the unit warms up.

It has taken six months, ten service trips and countless hours on the phone with Dodge , American Axle and different dealers but heres what has taken the vibration away at expressway speeds.
Its the very first thing I told them when I took it in for the first time. The transfer case. I have had four rear driveshafts in, one front shaft and a new rear ring, pinion, bearings and now the transfer case. This has taken the vibration out about 95%. There still is a slight vibration when you are under throttle till you reach your maitained highway speed then it subsides. This I believe is still the rear driveshaft but when they come out with a larger dampner on the shaft I think it will be gone also. If you can move the dampner on the driveshaft (where it slips on to the transfer case tailshaft ) up about a 1/8 to a 1/4 inch by hitting it with your palm of your hand its too sloppy. This is the second truck this engineer has replaced the transfer case on and on both trucks it has solved the vibration. It took a lot of complaining at the dealer level before the Dodge engineer got invloved. But now Im almost vibration free and this truck is great.

Can you provide the name of the engineer or area service manager that worked on your fix. I have an area guy involved in mine and I have a bad feeling when I get mine back today after the second shaft being rebalanced, that there will be no fix. I have talked to him about the possibility of the transfer case and this would give substance to the argument and he could get counsel from that engineer to validate doing more on mine. Pls provide the name and TN # if you possibly can. Tks.
