2004 or 2004.5?

My 2004 3500 was manufactured in 1-04. I need to know does that make it a 2004 or a 2004.5. I'm fixin to buy injectors and want to get the right ones. I was told that there is a differance.

Look on the drivers side valve cover, there is a sticker. If it says 305hp it is an 04, 325hp it's 04.5+.

Build date of 1 Jan 04 is 04.5.

It will also have the HP rating as stated above, cat converter, and electronic wastegate.

There is a difference in injectors.

We run Limited Modified dirt track. Missed last season due to job loss but just got hired so we'll be back out there soon.
